The sixteen-apartment solution represents an “Application Specific Microgrid.” It is designed for cooking using solar photovoltaics and batteries. The solar panels and batteries are deployed in an optimized and aggregated configuration to ensure lower capital and operating costs, superior reliability, scalability, and maintenance ease.
The solution can be extended to numerous apartment buildings and standalone homes, and to commercial cooking facilities such as dormitories and restaurants.
At first glance, this apartment building solution may appear similar to the standalone solution BHAVE Power Systems has demonstrated at different venues in the US and in India. But the apartment building solution is qualitatively distinct. It is a scalable solution with global reach, and thus represents a distinct and large market.
Whereas the standalone cooking solution is a “point” solution, the apartment building solution is a “systems” solution at the back end. The customer cooking experience remains the same.
